men's basketball team undefeated in tournament
The Corps Men’s Basketball Team competed in the annual Notre Dame Flyin’ Irish ROTC Basketball Classic, Jan 18-20.
Approximately 50 men’s teams from around the nation participated. For the third consecutive year, the Aggie Corps team finished as undefeated tournament champions.
Under the leadership of team captain/coach Bruce Davis ’09 (from Company A-1), the Aggies defeated ROTC teams from Purdue, Indiana, St. Joseph’s, Illinois, Virginia Tech, Marquette and Olivet Nazarene en route to the championship, including exciting come-from-behind wins in the final three games.
It was an impressive team effort and every player made an important contribution and represented the Corps and the university with class.
