Did you know…
- The Marine Corps drill team in the Oscar-nominated movie “A Few Good Men” was actually the Corps of Cadets Fish Drill Team.
- The Ross Volunteer Company is the official Honor Guard for the Governor of the state of Texas.
- The 1943 movie “We’ve Never Been Licked” was about a young Aggie cadet during WWII.
- The highest-ranking member of the Corps is Reveille VIII, the school's official mascot.
- Aside from the Cadet Corps itself, the Ross Volunteer Company is the oldest student organization in the state of Texas.
- Since 1876, Texas A&M has produced more than 43,000 commissioned officers serving in all branches of the armed services, of whom more than 225 have reached the rank of general or flag officer.
- In 2007, the CIA recruited more graduates from Texas A&M than from any other school.
