Spend the Day with the Corps

|
The Spend the Day with the Corps program is an official campus visit to Texas A&M University offered each summer for high school juniors and seniors and their parents. The activities throughout the day include:
|
- An admissions application workshop with university admissions counselors
- Presentations from various departments around the campus
- Tours of campus and the Quad
- Time with cadets, Corps staff and ROTC representatives
- An Aggie Yell Practice with the A&M Yell Leaders at the end of the day
Dates and Schedule
Spend the Day with the Corps is held during the summer. The 2010 program dates are July 23rd and August 6th.
Registration
Approximately 500 parents and students participate in each Spend the Day with the Corps program. To ensure each student has access to the resources and tours, Spend the Day with the Corps requires pre-registration. Please note there is a $25 registration fee, per family.
To register and learn about attendance requirements, click on the button above and submit the online registration. Again, the program is open to students who will be juniors or seniors in high school during the 2010-2011 school year (and their families).
Once registered, you should receive and return the Spend the Day with the Corps Camp & Enrichment Liability Waiver form to the Corps Recruiting Office. When we receive these materials, we will mail your Spend the Day with the Corps Confirmation Packet to you.
We strongly recommend that all high school seniors prepare an initial draft of Part II of their admissions application (Activities) and initial drafts of Essay Topics “A,” “B,” and “C.” These documents will be helpful references as you attend the Spend the Day Admissions Workshop (conducted by the Office of Admissions) and will provide a great resource when you begin the actual admission process online.
