About the Building
The Corps Center is the front door of the Corps of Cadets. A map is available here. This view shows the South Entrance.
The Sam Houston Sanders' Corps of Cadets Center invites you to come and see what Texas A&M's Corps of Cadets is all about with the largest museum of Corps and Aggie history and life in the world. Located between Spence Park, and the 12 dorm living area of the Corps of Cadets called the "Quad", the Corps Center has the ideal location to serve as the front door to the Corps of Cadets. A place where many get their first glimpse of the Aggie Corps, and take their first steps toward understanding that Aggie Spirit.
The idea for the Corps Center began as a student center for members of the Corps of Cadets. The Corps Center was first envisioned as a place where Cadets could relax, study, and meet. By the time construction began on March 27, 1990, the plans included room for a museum, a library, offices space, and conference rooms. When it was opened on November 2, 1992, visitors were able to tour the large central hall which houses thousands of Aggie artifacts and memorabilia, browse a library with over 3,000 military research volumes, see the largest gun collection in Texas, and use the large conference rooms.

Support for the Corps Center comes in part from the sell of name bricks in Corps Center Plaza. This is the north entrance.
In addition, the Corps Center houses the Commandant's recruiting office. The Corps Center construction was financed entirely by gifts, and it is operated by student workers and volunteers from the Corps of Cadets called the Corps Center Guard. The Corps Center continues to raise money through programs like the Brick Campaign where supporters can purchase a brick with their name on it to be placed in the front courtyard.
