Intramurals and Corps Athletics

Intramurals
Intramurals are an enjoyable aspect of the Corps experience for many cadets. Units hold friendly competitions against one another in a variety of sports, such as football, softball and basketball. Successful units advance to compete against other teams across campus.
Corps Athletics
For cadets interested in taking their athletic participation up a notch, the Corps has an extensive athletics program that facilitates competitions with teams outside of the Corps. Corps athletics teams compete in a variety of sports, including baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, soccer, swimming and marathons and cadets may participate on all male, all female or co-ed teams.
The various Corps athletics teams compete in different leagues throughout the year, such as the A&M Rec leagues and the BCS leagues. The marathon team runs in races around the state of Texas, including the Dallas, San Antonio and Austin marathons.
Each year on Parent's Weekend, the Corps baseball team plays a game against an all-fraternity member team to raise money for the Still Creek Boy's Ranch. This annual game has become a campus favorite.
The Corps basketball team has won the Flyin' Irish ROTC Basketball Classic at the University of Notre Dame for three consecutive years: 2006, 2007 and 2008. The marksmanship team also won the national championship in 2007.
